How many words are there to describe a personality? Lets attempt it. "A blend of fun and crazy, yet polite, respectful and kind"Karis, who fits this rare personality, seems to be a gem that no one can resist to know. His energy both as a musician and in person is electric and fills the room instantaneously.
Karis comes from humble beginnings; born in a small village in Kenya, Ndenderu, he knows the best and the worst of both worlds. As a young boy, attending church and participating in church functions, he was introduced to the guitar and the relationship between this instrument and Karis was born.
Since then Karis has reached unexpected and tremendously high standards playing the guitar, playing for known artists as a session guitarist such as.., and playing for various bands in different genres here in Southern California primarily, Reggae, Jazz, Latin, African, and Samba music.
Karis is currently a member of Vega, a jazz band based here in southern California, and a guitarist with the critically acclaimed Mili Mili, which recently received great reviews from David Foster from the competitive music competition, Star Tomorrow.
Other musical groups Karis has contributed to and have played a major role in adding to his success are Milele, 4th Ave Jones, Killer Entertainment's Murder Mystery Dinner Cruise, Limit X, Reggae Motion, Zion Music, 12th note Production (Boston), Badaue, Jativa Reggae, Jcleff Music among many others. He has individually worked with celebrity musicians over the last 7 years in his career here in the U.S., primarily, Alex Acuna, Abe Laboriel, Paul Jackson Jr, Justo Almario, Alberto Salas, Andre Crouch, Fred Doumbe, Giovanni, Vega, to name just a few.

Music is a powerful tool that can bring joy to those who are hurting and hope to the hopeless. His music is a journey, a blend of various styles of music, topped up with cool soothing guitar licks.
