Welcome to my page! My name is Kari and I am married to David, my best friend and the love of my life. I have 2 beautiful children, Daniel (19 yrs old) and Stephen (3 yrs old).
I'm a stay-at-home mom and my husband is currently an active-duty Corpsman in the U.S. Coast Guard. We moved to Oostburg, Wisconsin in June 2005 after living on Kodiak Island in Alaska for a few years. We miss the beautiful scenery and plan to return to Alaska permanently one day, but for now I'm happy to be back in the lower 48 for a while.
I suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis which is an autoimmune disease, NOT to be confused with osteoarthritis that affects the elderly. This has left me with quite a bit of joint damage and a great deal of pain and therefore, limits my amount of activity. I was also recently diagnosed with Secondary Fibromyalgia. Since I'm home most of the time, I decided I needed something to occupy my free time and "Kari's Creations" was born.
I started out designing merchandise for my RA friends and the various illnesses that accompany RA, but I am slowly expanding to other areas as well. I've got tons of ideas so I'm always adding new stuff as I find the time to do so.
I am also accepting special orders for custom merchandise so please keep me in mind next time you need a unique gift (just send me an e-mail and we can discuss options). I can add your children's photo & text to a t-shirt or mug for Grandma, an ornament for your Christmas tree or make custom shirts with your children's name on them...The sky is the limit!
