About me: Hello. I would offer you a cup of tea, but it's rather difficult to serve it through a screen. But do feel free to read my blogs, watch my videos, witness my all-around general zaniness and/or my (occasional though hopefully bordering on consistent) bursts of wisdom. I hope to uplift your day. Yes, it 'tis, it 'tis: Kari's myspace page. The personal me.
The professional me just wrapped my original short film "Two". To find out more, visit my "top friend".
I also recently had a role in the short film "Attackazoids, DEPLOY!". This is a pre-quel to the award-winning film "Attackazoids", and has just hit the festival circuit. It won "Best Sci-Fi Short" at The Atlanta Underground Film Festival on August 29th! Check out the awesome trailer:
I also recently shot the short film "Sweet Virginia". It played at The Seattle International Fim Festival in late May, and has been accepted into several others-stay tuned! Congrats Zach, Andrew, and the gang!
Who I'd like to meet: The ones who resolve to be happy in spite of jackhammers. The ones who resolve to be tolerant of jackhammers. And the ones who surrender to the vivid, head-banging, quirky, hidden rock beat of jackhammers.
I'm so glad you are haveing a Memorable Birthday. That sounds Wonderful. LOL, I'm working on my own future Romantic Dinner Partner. He He I'm enjoying the pursuit. Have Great Fun tonight for your Party, I'm sure it will be Smashing.
I'm playing with a new toy that converts Records and Cassettes to CDs. It is so much fun to finaly be able to bring my music when I travel and drive around. LOL, The Radio just does not hold a candle to my collection! Other than, I'm nice and settled in now in Tyler after the Hurricane last year. I'm getting geared up to move forward with the Worship Group sometime next year. I'm excited to get this next step on track.
Did you find adequate funding for that project you were working on? I bet it is flying well by now. Take care Hun. Congratulations on finding your Sweetheart.
Hi, I've just "tasted the rainbow", i.e. read your blog on NYC Pride March. And, on reflection, I must say that I always did that before, every time I've been reading something you wrote or watching your videos or even a picture of yours (not necessarily of you) at your myspace site... Besides, I always see the rainbow whenever I think of you! Not every day, not every night though - lol, just time to time. And as I love its subtle joyful magic, I love you in the same way. BTW, happy 4th of July!
Hi Kari, hope things are fine with you. I would have liked to read a blog of yours I remembered you had posted last year: I'm Boycotting Astrology, but it, together with a good chunk of your Blog, seems not to be available any more. Can you confirm? Keep well and thanks anyway. aka_odradek

I am a novelist with a new book coming out in 3 weeks. I've stared posting excerpts in my MySpace blog. I just put up the full second chapter. I invite you to check it out (well, start with Chapter One.)
So I was searching You Tube "Inside the Actors Studio" clips to show my high school acting students, and I clicked on the Johnny Depp episode, and there you were! I know you know you were there, but what a surprise on my Thursday morning!
