Karizz steps on the R&B/Soul music scene with a voice reminiscent of the greats from the past like Freddie Jackson, Jeffrey Osbourne, Peabo and the list goes on. With today's music and his classic sound Karizz is a MUCH NEEDED element that's missing in commercial music today. Remember when people used to turn off the lights, light candles, burn the incense, and just lay back in the dark and listen to sultry, love ballads - what happened to those days - THEY ARE COMING BACK - and you best believe KARIZZ IS GOING TO BE PART OF THE NEW GROUP OF ARTISTS TO BRING IT BACK TO LIFE.
In 2007 he released his debut single "Pretty Eyez" and it was placed in light rotation on 4 commercial radio stations including WGOV in Valdosta, GA, WJJN and WBBK in Dothan, AL and WGPR in Detroit, Michigan. As an independent artist without any major promotion that is a GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENT because it was played solely based on the merit of the song and the skill of the artist.
Karizz was also featured in the August 2007 issue of BRE (Black Radio Exclusive ) trade magazine with WGOV's Program Director, Jammin Jamie, and was interviewed by Black Star News editor Milton Allimadi.
