Karl has been djing since 1996, it all started as a hobby, it was only when Karl got offered a fill in slot on Kiss 105.3fm in 1998 that he started to take djing seriously.
Karl went on to host 2 shows weekly on Kiss Fm for a year and a half before moving onto Nova 94.7fm. He stayed with Nova for 6 years where it became the most popular dance music station in Dublin before it finally got shut down in June 2005.
Karl has held residencies at some of Dublins top clubs such as Club Mono, Switch, Pod, The Crypt, Mischief, Traffic, Metro @ Sub Lounge and currently
Radio City, The South William & Andrews Lane Theatre.
Mainly known for his progressive house sound, Karl has incorporated electro and funky house music into his sound, so with a blend of these, his style is truly unique.
In 2001 he set up a specialist record shop in Temple Bar catering for all of Dublins top djs called FutureSounds which he ran for 2 and a half years. It was the first shop in Ireland to host a top 5 dance chart on national radio 2FM called the Future Cut chart.
After shutting up shop in 2003, Karl then got into the production side of dance music and currently has 3 releases out on Monad Music under both his own name and remix name Semtech and a new release out on the 20th October 2008 with his new production partner Tony Pugh under the name of Groove Boy - The Beginning which went straight in at No. 19 on the progressive house charts on www.progressivehouse.com
Groove Boy also done a remix of Cristian Paduraru - Your Material Body which was released on the 25th December 2007 on Christian Records and are currently working on a 3 track E.P

If you want to do a guest mix anytime let me know. We set up in April and have had over 4000 hits since then. Anyway, chat to you again at some stage

Dublin based DJ..Producer Soulfinder aka Stephen Hogg has in a relatively short time gained a reputation as a highly talented producer of quality House Music. His brand of Deep Melodic Tech House has been receiving major attention from the likes of Nick Warren and Eelke Kleijn with Mr Kleijn signing him to his Out of the Box imprint. His two track debut for Monad Music Stereo Poems..Stay a While just ooze class while Pacco & Ruby B and Dima Swed complete the package turning in two top notch remixes of Stereo Poems.
Stereo Poems (Original Mix)
Stereo Poems starts in a deceptively low key manner with some mournful pads and haunting vocal chants that make way for crisp driving percussion, a big rolling bass line, some delayed synth stabs, and an infectious chime arpeggio.
Stay a While (Original Mix)
Stay a While is a much more uplifting affair that manages to keep all Soulfinder’s trade mark lush melodic elements but adds extra energy with the use of dark pumping beats, a powerful chunky bass line, and insistent filtered keys.
Stereo Poems (Pacco & Ruby B Remix)
Croatian production team Pacco & Ruby B step up to the mark on their remix of Stereo Poems. The track is a quality slice of prime time Techno that is built on a relentless groove that powers its way through dark percussive elements and mashed up snatches of the original vocal.
Stereo Poems (Dima Swed Remix)
Russian DJ..Producer Dima Swed takes his remix of Stereo Poems on dark twisted journey. He takes some of the components of the original puts them through some extreme effects adds some filthy beats, lots of discordant hits and stabs and ends up with a track that’s tailor made for the dark room. Some Reactions :
"Great stuff from Monad again, Stay Awhile is our fav, Dima Swed remix will rock a dancefloor or t
