March 19th through March 29th, 2009 in Statesville, North Carolina. Showcasing richness of musical talent and lifting spirits in a community whose unemployment has doubled, this 10 Day Continuous Music Marathon will be raising funds to support United Way’s 23 local agencies to meet community’s rapidly increasing needs. AND we’ll be setting a record recognized by Guinness World Records. If you know any other folks that are willing to help we can still use volunteers to help run shifts according to Guinness standards. We could also us a few more musicians of all types: Gospel, Country, Rock, Celtic, School Bands & Choruses, vocalists, instrumentalists, individuals, duos, groups, Jazz, Bluegrass, Christian, Hip-Hop, etc. to volunteer their talents and time for this event that will help thousands in our community.
