In the climate of current contemporary urban music, arises an artist known as Karl Nova who seeks to break the stereotypical mold through the vehicle of the spoken word............................................................................................................................................ Whether it is in rap format, spoken word poetry, heartfelt street psalms as he calls them, he seeks to give voice to the search for meaning and deep need for faith, hope and spirituality that relates to everyday living..........................................................................................................................................
He started in church but grew disillusioned by the discrepancies. His music and poetry is like a diary of his journey, his highs and his lows, his discoveries and his breakthroughs. He seeks to be an alternative and positive voice in this midst of the storm..........................................................................................................................................
He is part of the London based award winning collective GK Real but for long has been known to be artist who is also on his own path to spread that timeless message of hope, faith and love to a generation this is seeking something real and looking for answers.....................................................................................................................................
He was born in London, raised in Lagos Nigeria and is currently London based. He is working on his debut album as well as presiding as an exec of the independent label Rockhill Music
