Mitte zwanzig, Kapuzenpullover, innerlich ein kleiner Poet, äußerlich auch "ganz in Ordnung" – und – wann hat er gelebt? Ach, heute? Hier und jetzt? — Dann ist's klar, einer dieser Singer-Songwriter muss das sein. Aber irgendeiner? Weit gefehlt. Karl Trompete schnürt weitreichende Vorerfahrung aus Electropop-, Jazz- und gar Nu-Metal-Formationen zusammen und wirft es Dir in die Hände, sein Gesamtpaket aus emotionsgeladener Gitarrenmusik, interessantem Electro-Klang, mehrstimmigem Gesang, vielschichtiger Poesie und einer Schubkarrenladung voll Herzblut. Seine Lieder hüpfen von Gisbert zu Knyphausen in Richtung Clueso, mal strotzen sie vor Energie, mal gebieten sie Einhalt. Und manchmal, da ziehen sie sich zurück an einen geheimen, intimen Ort namens Gänsehaut. Und nehmen dich mit.
