| About KarmaStone |
Inspiré de mélodies pop (Beatles, Bowie), de gros riffs (Led Zeppelin, the Who) et de sonorités électroniques (french touch), le groupe KarmaStone est fondé en 2006 par Thomas Lavernhe, auteur compositeur français. Après son album solo « Ping Pong in Alaska » (2005), il enregistre les 4 titres de l’Ep « Girls Cry »(2006) et se produit à une série de concerts à la prison de Poitiers, des performances durant quelques défilés de Trash-Couture (Haute Couture) ou encore au stade de Colombo (Sri Lanka).
Fin 2007, Thomas sort le single « Carousel » et est rejoint par Dan Laurens, guitariste, qui lui présente le batteur Romain Roulleau et le bassiste Briac Maillard.
KarmaStone développe alors un pop-rock-electro efficace et mélodique.
Ils ont joué le 4 juillet 2008 pour la performance Haute Couture « Le Jardin de Phoenix » de Roberto de Villacis à Paris.

The Thomas Lavernhe solo album « Ping Pong in Alaska » is released in 2005. TrashKarma is created with Alexander Fairfax around the Haute Couture maison Trash-Couture; This performances are closely followed by « Girls cry » , first EP of KarmaStone recently created by Thomas.
The single "Carousel" is released in 2007 on Internet.
January 2008, Dan Laurens (guitars), Romain Roulleau (drums) and Briac Maillard(bass guitar) joined the project.
KarmaStone performed live in April 2006 at the Poitiers prisoners facility and in the Stadium of Colombo, Sri Lanka for the big "Unesco Concert" for Peace.
On july the 4th, KarmaStone played at the Karsten Greve gallery in Paris for a Haute Couture performance of Roberto de Villacis: le "Jardin de Phœnix".
