Inspiration strikes in many forms and on countless frequencies. One's muse can be as bold as a sunset or as subtle as a wafting scent. Whatever form, no matter how large or small, inspiration is a gift to be embraced with humble gratitude.
Honor the things that honor your spirit. Teach your children to honor the gifts within them as well. Nurture the bounty of your creative spirit and it will honor you in return.
My name is Cindy and I am a Portrait Artist/Freelancer.
Whenever I have the opportunity to speak or write those words, my heart quite literally swells and I can't help but smile.
After many years in the medical field, my life began to take a karmic turn. A small doodle on the back of my work assignment landed me dozens of portrait requests from co-workers at the facility where I worked. With the encouragement of friends, family and even my boss, I began to assemble a portfolio. Starting with a portrait of Bobby Darin, Sandra Dee and their son, Dodd, I erected a website and began my adventure as an "Artist". Within weeks I took my first professional portrait commission - from none other than Dodd Darin, himself. To this day, I am not sure how he found me. I can, however, tell you this - Karma is a powerful thing!

I think we all come into this world with a passion for something. How sad when children are taught to deny their passion for the sake of convenience. For me, the message is quite clear - Nurture the gifts within you. As long as you honor your passions, they will honor you.
As the pages of my Karmic Book continue to unfold, I feel more and more blessed. It has been over two years since I left my job in the medical facility and began my work as a Portrait Artist/Freelancer, full-time. Being completely self-taught, I continue to grow and develop my skills and techniques with each new work. My artworks are now exhibited regularly with the Lyme Art Association as well as in private collections around the world.
Worldwide Women Artists is an international collective of women artists showing and selling our original art through the worldwide web. As women artists, we give birth to our ideas in a variety of styles and media. We embrace the diversity of each other's work, celebrating the joy of creating our art and sharing it with the world.

Racking this poor little thing i call a brain for some sort of marathon lunch friendly place to go.....Hey I have an idea......lets just do Shady's, they will have to adjust and get used to us , like it or not!! SO how is that for a plan...Wednesday, sometime after noon at Shady's.
I am thinking maybe next Wednesday? Hows that work for you ?? And do we want to do the Shady thing again or venture somewhere shall I say more friendly?? LOL
