|
| Bio | I’ve written comedy sketches and bits since I was eight. Of course those were mostly about the trials of being eight. No I did parodies and satires of commercials, satiric news broadcasts, and short sketches. In the past year and a half I have written several dozen new comedy bits and sketches. I have posted a few samples on the blog here and will be posting the rest soon.
I’m retired from a junior college teaching job I had for thirty-four years. So I am already experienced, since I performed in front of live audiences totalling over 10,000 individuals for several hours a day for more than 140 days a year. In other words I have approximately 15,000 hours of experience making presentations to groups of people of varying ages.
I have also called 35 public auctions lasting between two and six hours each, before audiences numbering up to several hundred.
Once I get some local seasoning doing my bits in front of audiences of non-relatives, I will be ready and willing to perform just about anywhere anytime.
I was sidetracked most of this past year (2007) by family matters. I am hoping 2008 will finally be my comedy career launching pad.
