(NEW!!!) Black And White Arrows (Demo 10):
In November 2004, over four years ago, another crappy garage band was formed. However, unlike countless other bands that die within a short time due to lack of commitment, two brothers, Nate and Levi Hambrick, struggled with sweaty brow and beating heart to expand musically and create songs that would not only sound good, but would have a positive, uplifting message that almost anyone could relate to. Although the last few years have been a struggle, Karpenter’s Kids is slowly but surely surfacing to a point of recognition, with over 17,000 fans on Myspace alone. “We feel like we’re at a critical point right now,” says Levi, the drummer and lead vocalist of the group, “It’s gotten to the point where we’ve invested so much into this band, we’ll either have to push it until we get signed, or lose interest altogether.”
With several studio recordings under their belt, the band is doing all within their power to release polished music that sets them apart from other unsigned bands. Just as importantly, Karpenter's Kids is very fan-orientated in its approach to music. Both Levi and Nate agree that "we're one of the few bands who actually TALKS to their fans on myspace...a lot of people find it hard to believe that we're able to make time for so many people, but we always do our best to make it a priority, so if someone does get a message from us, it's always from the band, and not from a paid employee or someone else."
No one knows what's in store for these two budding musicians, but Nate sounds optimistic about the future. "The way I see it," he states, "If we get signed, that'll be great, and if we don't, that'll be fine as well. We're constantly making friends and having fun in the meantime: even if nothing else comes of the years we've invested in this band, it'll still be worth it!"
Will this be the next big band out there? Only time will tell.

Hi Guys... Thanks for stopping by and asking how our 4th of July was. We had to work, but still enjoyed our time together afterwords. Hope you had a great weekend and 4th of July. We really enjoy your video's and page. I was reading your page and I hope you will continue to make music. Try to enjoy it as much as you can while you can still do it. Sometimes we make mistakes by not finishing or following through with our dreams. God wants us to use our talents and if we don't He may take them and give them to someone that will. I've passed up a lot of opertunities and even quit playing guitar once for 2 years. Man was I stupid and playing music for my selfesh purposes. I got my left hand badly injured at work one day and it was almost all over for my talents. And it was hard to get back to playing again. I didn't make promises to God that I would do His work if my hand got better. I made that dicision because I felt God had touched my heart through other friends when I was recovering. I actually started playing more for Christ and really started to enjoy what I was doing now with my talent. God gave us talents to use. I try to use them for His purpose now. I owe Him everything and this is just one way to Worship Him and enjoy what He gives me everyday. You don't have to make it rich and it isn't about how big of a following you have. If you can lead even one lost person to Jesus or plant His seed, then you are doing what God wants. I got to go. It's time to get back to church for the Sunday evening service. It's all about Jesus... Love and Peace, Marty Smith
I haven't left you a comment in awhile...and that makes me sad...though i just talked to you Levi on fb... I hope the both of you are doing great! talk to you soon!
Black and white arrows is goood! And yes I have heard plenty of times before. Locomotion I think is my favorite, right next to Moments like these, of course ;)
