KarrArikh Tor Hallo, so is this the place where I ramble about being a misunderstood muscian, wave my arms around, drop my head, then mutter something dark, ominous, and doomy as I trail out the room talking to shadows?

Musicah..., mine?!? and Korn, Slayer, RUSH, Skinny Puppy, Fates Warning, Einstürzende Neubauten, Milwaukee's Black Orchid, Stygian Tars, Meat Beat Manifesto, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Death in June, Bauhaus, Peter Murphy, David J., Love and Rockets, The Cure, New Order, Joy Division, Judas Priest, Yes, ELP, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Depeche Mode, Kylyra, Kraftwerk, Front242, Schubert and Vivaldi.
MoviesI like films created as art, which entertain me. I always loved Maya Derens films, and I quite like early Russian Montage and German Expressionism. Many Bollywood films are also quite entertaining to me (though I have seen no more than a dozen or so). I like Tarkovsky (particulary Stalker), Kieslowski (Three Colours series is just wonderful). And of course Shinya Tsukamoto's Tetsuo films. oh yeah, I like splat films like Re-Animator, Evil Dead, Shaun of the Dead, and From Beyond. Zombie films are great, just not as my fun as when my sister hated them...
TelevisionI like buying seasons of shows I like and watching them over weeks in order, without ads. Doctor Who, Firefly, Farscape, (see a trend yet?) most sci-fi programs, Avengers, the Young Ones, Father Ted, The Tick (real & animated), most cartoons
BooksComics, mostly. The collection is over 14,000 issues these days. A lot of Marvel, Vertigo, 2000AD, and independants like Wolff & Byrd, The Tick, Slacker and other such madness. And Questing stories (books here - no pictures even) like Redwall, Asimov's Universe, Harry Potter series, Lord of the Rings (again books - not Jackson films).

   KarrArikh's Blurbs
About me:

I am a musician in the bands Infinisynth, Future Dialogue and Deemed Psychotic (a band I am in with my sister, Kylyra). Presently I'm doing my first solo project, Tor's Angst along with finishing '2nd Take' from Deemed. I do Lead and backing vocals, guitars, bass, rhythm, rhythm programming, melodic composition and arrangements. I also help on the website www.darkworld.com in graphics, painting, and beta-testing. Music and Dark World are most of my life these days, but that was expected. I'm just trying to slow down and go with the flow in a whirlpool of a reality.

Who I'd like to meet:
Halle Berry, actually

Hello to you my friend! My comment is to bring,to debate, issues I feel are very important, concerning the lisbon treaty.Below are a three videos. The first is very short(3 min)and is of an MEP who sees the "Totalitarian nature of this treaty"

The second is a documentary called "The real face of the European Unio" which is very important as it outlines, once again by MEP's,"An unsettleing Agenda" from an EU that is "Rotten to the Core"
..
The Third is from a group of Irishmen. "End of Nations". It is an excellent documentary and it outlines the Lisbon treaty in full.Once again interviews with MEP's. Just be prepared to be a little shocked.

..
I'd encourage you to repost this comment If you feel it is of value. I will be posting a bulletin with the details and code of this comment.Press reply to bulletin, copy and paste the message, then repost as a comment. Thanks for taking the time to read this! Baz.....

I saw it snow on 01 Feb! It snowed on and off all day long. The mountains on Beara peninsula were white all across them. Remember this is West Cork Ireland, not Canada. Today there was still snow, but patches with grooves like we might usually see. Thought you might all want to know...

There's a Legend (Mythos) everywhere
MYTHOS BREWERY LTD., is the second largest brewery in Greece. The brewery that created 'Mythos' in 1997, the first authentically Greek beer, which has won the hearts of Greek and foreign consumers, and changed the market share in the Greek beer market.

i thought this was cool.

Bush inartfully suggests Saddam killed Mandela.

In a press conference this morning, President Bush tried to assert that Saddam’s brutal rule over Iraq wiped the country clean of potential democratic reformers — individuals who may have possessed leadership skills like former South African President Nelson Mandela. In doing so, Bush inartfully suggested Saddam killed Mandela:

I thought an interesting comment was made — somebody said to me, I heard somebody say, “Now, where’s Mandela?” Well, Mandela’s dead because Saddam Hussein killed all the Mandelas.

For the record, Nelson Mandela is still alive while Saddam Hussein is dead. Watch it:

Nelson Mandela was a strong opponent of the war in Iraq. Prior to the war, he condemned Bush as “a president who can’t think properly and wants to plunge the world into holocaust.” “Why does the United States behave so arrogantly?” he asked, adding, “They just want the oil. We must expose this as much as possible.”

ain't america great? duh!
