   About Karrie Pavish Anderson
Freedom meets Creativity in the poignant lyrics and exquisite vocals of Karrie Pavish Anderson's contemporary music. From a childhood of music involvement to the study of it at the University of Alaska Anchorage, Karrie has performed at a myriad of venues presenting music colored with jazz, rock, ccm and blues. "There's nothing like sending out all-original tunes to packed venues and seeing people really into the music," says Pavish Anderson.

Naturally weaving passion with insight, Karrie's vocals and articulate songwriting talents give birth to great acoustic performances that delight culturally diverse audiences of all ages, leaving them pleasantly satiated yet jonesing for another fix.

Whether Karrie accompanies herself on the piano or guitar, whether she sings a capella or with a gospel choir & band, listeners regularly comment on the depth of passion she expresses when she performs. She comments, "Perseverance through life challenges offers me so much to write about. Everyone goes through hard times and sometimes it's difficult to find the rhyme or reason; that's something everyone can relate to. But it's my desire to offer a bit of hope & love through my writing and my performances 'cause Lord knows, we could all use a little more of those."

Karrie is a slender, vivacious, sassy yet elegant brunette whose passion is intrinsically poured out in her singing and lived out in her life.

Hey Karrie, It was great to see you last week. I loved you solo that you sang. My roommate was playing that song just as I was thinking about looking it up on youtube. Well, take care.

Ha

My Alaskan-buddy-to-be with the well named guitarist ;). Thanks for stopping by again, Karrie. Really appreciate it.

A few things on the go. I'm in the middle of a remix of Rescue Me for a female rock pop thing. Martin Haene ( www.martytone.com ) is handling the whole rerecording and remix. It's been a bit difficult to let it go but necessary. And also cowriting with Aub Delane on a new track ('Who Do You Love'). Aub is at www.myspace.com/thegypsyvan .

I really want to get these out the way so I can get recording the next album, which I hope is going to be a little more Waterboys circa 1988 and a little less contemporary pop rock. But who knows? I just try.

Are you going to the Taxi Rally?

Kind regards

Liam.

What very, very sensitive songwriting. Man, I thoroughly enjoying browsing through these tracks.

And your guitarist shares my son's name (Conor). Must be a sign ;)

All the best

Umm...I mostly play classic rock...you know, Zeppelin, AC/DC. I'm also into heavy metal and shred...Metallica, Trivium...But I'm also a little bit into the blues. So basically I'll play any style. But yeah, I would say I'm mostly a rhythm guitarist, but I can bust out a sweet solo or some cool licks or something if the need arises.

Hey Karrie I was wondering if you were gonna do another concert thing at GILA this year like you did last spring...because if you need a guitarist I'd be interested...I'm sort of in a musical rut right now and I need a gig or something..so yeah...keep me updated on any details about that...
