Bio
Karsilama! - Was created by the husband and wife team of Jennifer and Brian Olson. Recently we have added the musical talents of Kari Jensen. .... They started performing at SCA, Ren Faires and Farmer's Markets and decided to come up with a group name that would allow better promotion of themselves. .... They perform Traditional Middle Eastern and Celtic music with their own creative interpretation of the music using some non-traditional genre instruments, such as playing some middle eastern tunes on harp or dulcimer and embellishing some Celtic tunes with doumbek or riq, while still keeping the traditional folk feel of the music..... Karsilama! performs at Ren Faires, SCA and other medieval events. They can also be found at small venues providing background music and of course if there are belly dancers - we want to provide music! They are available for haflas, weddings and other special events. .... The CD Has been released. If you are interested in ordering one, send a message here on Myspace, or an email to: karsilama@live.com.... -
