KARTRIDGE is a four piece rock band from Malta. The band started off in 2004........like many others do......... a group of friends got together to have some fun and try to express themselves through music. Having finally found a place to rehearse, the band was still missing one final member, a singer. The band was introduced to Daryl Ebejer (former singer of Purple Haze) and the band chose KARTRIDGE as its’ name. A couple of gigs and some line-up changes summed up the band’s first year.
One change was made in mid 2005 when another former Purple Haze member, guitarist Stephen Borg, joined KARTRIDGE. Stephen left the band in the summer of 2007 was replaced by Paul Anthony Barbara.
KARTRIDGE’s current line-up is Daryl on vocals. Simon on bass, Paul on guitar and Emerson on drums & vocals The different influences of each member of the band are all incorporated into one thus making KARTRIDGE’s sound varied and interesting. The band has played successfully in many clubs, bars and festivals in Malta
