Kasandra Krause is taking on the Music Industry full fledge as she continues to write and record songs that she feels will touch those who believe and pay attention. She takes pride in saying " I have a message... are you willing to listen". There are those out there who have not yet heard what this Asian can do but she often surprises those who aren't expecting such a big voice to come from this petite woman.
More recently Kasandra has been writing her own songs but growing up she proclaims her inspirations to be such artists as Mary J Blige, Rose Royce, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott , Alicia Keys and so forth. She grew up listening and practicing with no formal training, using just her heart and soul and entered local contests in which she would always do surprisingly well.
She performed at Livingstons where she won a contest against other local artists who sang there. She has won several Talent Competitions around the valley and Kasandra more recently entered American Idol in Philidelphia where in her first attempt made it through to the Second round. Out of 50,000 people she was one of the 300 to make it.
Over the summer Kasandra Krause was featured in Baby Boy Da Prince's Music Video " Naw Meen" where she made a lasting impression on Extreme Entertainment with whom she is currently in negotiations. Her " NEXT" episode is still being played on MTV and she made sure to quote her favorite slogan
"This Asian's Got Soul" those who happen to capture a glimpse of what Kasandra can do will be able to recognize the amount of energy, passion and dedication she has towards music and what she brings to the industry.
Kasandra appreciates the support of all of her fans, friends and family and continues to aim towards her everylasting dream of making a strong impression for Korean/American's in the music industry.
