a good hibernation can lead to one eye slowing lifting upward. and what one eye does, the other usually follows... and so my arms rise gently above my head, lengthening my spine, separating my ribs, to make way for the glorious space within, which is equal in importance to the space without....
my path may be a challenging upward hill, but i'd be bored if it wasn't and my boots are great for climbin'...
with that... i hope you'll join some wonderful people that i'm blessed to make music with as we offer up our hearts and souls for the space within us, which extends and connects to the space within you...
without love and gratitude, what can we really claim?
Since we can't expect the maestro himself to be so brash (he's actually a little shy once you really get to know him), we've decided to take it upon ourselves and do the dirty work for him...
After so many years of such heartfelt devotion, the RAUSCH album is OUT NOW and we can't help but feel compelled to provide a gentle little nudge on his behalf... or rather, proclaim it from the mountaintop!

Good evening fellow RAUSCH! At this point after 3 months of harsh seclusion I'm just hoping that perhaps you might still remember me?! :-0
Well to get caught up... my name is Doug... I like all music that is not NON-Music, long walks on the beach (ok ok now I've completely lost it lol), pigs, and hot sauces.... and as of this week, the ALBUM is READY. Not only that but we've got ourselves a release date! Woo Hoo!
I believe that brings the official timeline to 1,769,017 years in the making... but the important thing is that it's DONE - the last edit click happened on August 20th :) (So then why, you might ask, didn't I at least say "Hello" to you at least in September? Well that's thanks to my body deciding it would conveniently get me through just up until quite literally the last day of work - prior to dropping me flat on my back [seriously, starting August 21st, I'm not kidding] with exhaustion and a fever of 103 degrees for the better part of a month). At least I can safely say that there wasn't a drop left to put into this thing....
So now it is finally time to emerge from the dead! Everything has been officially sent off to Amazon and i Tunes and at last it's just a matter of weeks! Prepare to receive instructions very shortly on how to ceremonially surrender that forever-talked-about "9.99". Can I count on you to rise to the occasion?! It would be an honor :)
And of equal if not greater importance, how have YOU been?
