KASHEE OPEIAH leaves a permanent impression. The sound of the band is rude and dirty; brute and thrilling. The energetic live-performances pay tribute to the feeling the band incorporates: the mood changes frequently and immediately between agression and brokeness, between power and heaviness. Musical images of a storm - the panic starts here...
After the some ups and downs of line-up and name changes the band formed itself as KASHEE OPEIAH in May 2006. Beyond any doubt, the recent record "Panic In Solitude" (Whirlwind Records, 2006) marks the climax of the band's development so far. In a cumulative shape mosh-parts without curlicues and big melodies are melted together, paired with challenging rhythm-motives. An opus that captures the listener for over an hour and a concept album which keeps an eye rather on the whole instead on a single song.

abend. jetzt wo wir uns "kenn", trau ich mich auch, euch was hier her zu tippen. und zwar ... ähm, ja ... was ich schreiben wollt ... also ich fand die mucke zur hochzeit von lychrie auch nich schlecht. wollt ihr eure musikalisch zukunft nich lieber so gestalten? ... wäre ja ne idee ... ok,ok, war nur ein vorschlag! ... war trotzdem ziemlich cool gewesen. leider nur wenig platz zum rumtanzen. ... ja und nett war's auch mit euch. gut, genug geschleimt. bis zur nächsten hochzeit ... wohl eher konzert. gruß.
