Kasiemba started studying piano in 2003 at the age of eighteen (a late-starter). He was just getting acquainted with music theory, music history, and classical piano at Citrus College. With his mind set on composing music for film, he, fortunately, took a slight detour into the world of jazz in 2005; a world that would come to the change way he approached all music and life in general. Kasiemba is currently studying film scoring as well as jazz piano at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.
