Again... so many... love all kinds of music... still trying to 'wrap' my ears around rap (lol, pun intended)...though my youngest daughter has 'turned me on' to some good rap such as MC Hammer (old stuff, I know), Will Smith and others. Ok, I'm a kid at heart... I LOVE the Harry Potter movies! I'm hooked! But, I also love the Rocky Horror Picture Show (yeah, ok, so I saw it the first year it came out and I've been a fan ever since!) the Matrix trilogy, V for Vendetta, Lord of the Rings and anything else Sci-Fi or Fantasy, as well as a good action/adventure movie such as anything by Quentin Tarantino, and movies with a more...adult theme ;-)
Some of my fav movie stars are Tim Curry, Sean Connery, Mel Gibson, Bruce Willis, Keeanu Reeves, Morgan Freeman, Sharon Stone, Michelle Pfeiffer, Julienne Moore, Halle Berry, Samuel Jackson, John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Lawrence Fishburn, Vin Diesel...even the Rock (used to think he was a big... lug...but saw him on a talk show a while back and have changed my mind...the guy's actually got some brains, and he really seems to be pretty cool!), and many others.

This is another area in which there are SOOO many subjects and authors in which I'm interested. I am an absolutely avid reader and researcher. I read everything from non-fiction, to how-tos to fiction to poetry. Some of my fav fiction writers are Stephen King (just got through reading Duma Key: awesome!), Dean Koontz, Anne Rice, Isaac Asimov, Robert Heinlein, Madelein L'Engle (LOVE her 'Wrinkle in Time' trilogy), JK Rowling, and anything in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy genre. Also enjoy Deepok Chopra and others in the healing field.

My Philosophy
On family life: A loving, compassionate family is the foundation and strength of a productive and thriving society. I believe that it makes no difference whether the parents are the traditional mother-father/male-female duo, or whether they're male/male or female/female. Studies have shown that in order for children -- as well as the entire family -- to be happy, we must practice LOVE and COMPASSION. Without Love and Compassion history will certainly be condemned to repeat itself if we fail to heed the lessons it teaches, as the Romans and other dead civilizations have shown.
Will we awaken to the fact that Love and Compassion contribute to the creation of a cohesive whole? Or will greed, fear, wars and killing contribute to our eventual downfall as a species?
On Relationships
Unless we change our attitudes about relating to others, our fate may culminate in the eventual end described above. I further believe that my Path in this Lifetime is to understand and apply Unconditional Love and to facilitate others in the learning of this most valuable Teaching so that we might prevent the end of humanity as we know it. Fatalistic? Melodramatic? Maybe...but, unfortunately, all too true. We're reaching a point in time where how we relate to each other, both on a personal as well as a Global scale, is critical to the outcome of this...Experiment.
