I like making pictures, silly pictures, scary pictures, some about evil cows. Other with scary fish. Then i write little stories about the picture and magically everything turnes into silly funny scary little lovely books.

About me:
Me, that is Kate Somme grew up in Norway, where she liked painting and drawing and sticking paper together with glue. Then one day she decided to travel to Falmouthland in Cornwall to do a degree in Ilustration, where she did lots of everything she loved. Then the time came for Kate to leave her course, and she did not want to, so she decided to do an MA in Illustration; Authorial Practice. Now she can write and draw magic stories at the same time. Woho!!!
At the moment Kate is self publishing her own books, Slug and Mister Snake is flying off the shelves.

Anyway.. we've been a little quiet for the last few months but we are very pleased to announce our new EP is finished and up on our myspace! Your drawings are top notch - there's a kind of innocent quality to them that reminds me of a story I enjoyed about twenty years ago where a mouse walked too far and had to buy some new feet! I see you like Joanna Newsom - I've been trying to work out a solo acoustic cover of Peach, Plum Pear for some time but I'm not happy with it yet.
