about me...I'm 17, I have enjoyed singing since I was 3. My favorite toys were my karaoke machine and my keyboard. I taught myself how to play the keyboard by ear. After singing a solo in 6th grade, my chorus teacher asked my parents to take me for voice lessons. After 3 years with a local vocal coach she suggested that I try out for Sal Dupree, a highly respected and talented entertainer and vocal coach. I have been training with Sal Dupree over 2 years. I also do some training with Badiene Magaziner, another highly respected and talented vocal coach. I'm currently working on my first album. I enjoy hip hop dancing and acting but, singing is what I love the most.
I am terrified and paranoid of the Woodstock time period... I don’t know what it is but it totally freaks me out and I’m so glad I was not born then.
The first song I ever wrote was a love song when I was nine; I made up the instrumentals on the piano and called my best friend Lauren on the phone to harmonize the chorus with me.
I never wear matching socks…believe me people notice more than you’d think
I’m an optimistic person and nothing really embarrasses me
I'm not a morning person
I’ll believe almost anything anyone says because I don’t expect people to lie to me
I try to stay as grounded as possible
I hate not having my toenails painted, but can never decided on a color, my fingers will never match my toes.
Although I wear my hair straight most of the time, believe it or not it is naturally curly; I was once asked if I had dread locks.
The only thing that calms me down when I’m stressed is to belt out some Christina Aguilera
I love wearing a sweatshirt and yoga pants… comfortable is the key to happiness
I hate seltzer water
math is probably my least favorite class
My favorite city is New York
Music makes me happier than anything in the world
My friends call me Kate
Im that girl who laughs until she cries
I love to dress up and look nice, but would pick jeans and a t-shirt over a dress any day
I’m fond of road trips, I could go anywhere with fun people and a good cd
I would never betray my friends
I have amazing parents and couldn’t do any of this stuff without them
I have two older brothers, two step brothers and a step sister
I think that having fun and laughing are the best things people can do for themselves
I like to live life to its fullest
Id pick almond butter over peanut butter anyday
When I can’t sleep I write songs
I could watch YouTube videos for hours…it’s an addiction
I’m afraid of bugs but I absolutely REFUSE to kill one
My favorite color(s) is purple, blue, and green…see I can never decide
BTW…….. I’m the most determined person you’ll probably ever meet, I don’t stop till I get where I want to be…
Thank you for adding me to your list of friends. I really appreciate it.

Happy New Year to you! Be well. I've read that the holidays can be very depressing to some. If you know someone like that, share this with them :)
1 of the most effective "natural cures" ever documented (really) 4 depression...
Have them stand in front of a mirror...smile...bigger...no, even bigger...that's it...an honest to goodness ear 2 ear smile! Look at you...standing there...strong...powerful...nothing is impossible for you...no limitations...you are the earth...you are the sky...and they are you...now, laugh...bigger...one of those gut bursting, side hurting, deep belly laughs...that's it. :)
Hey Hi! Thank you for adding me! it really mean a lot! Hope you enjoy the music. So instead of leaving lame "Download my EP on iTunes" comment" I am known for leaving you off with a gnarly joke from my favorite comedian Mitch Hedberg!
"I saw a lady on T.V. She was born without arms. Literally, she was born with her hands attached to her shoulders... and that was sad, but then they said, "Lola does not know the meaning of the word 'can't.'" And that to me was kinda worse... in a way... ya know? Not only does she not have arms, but she doesn't understand simple contractions. It's very simple, Lola, you just take two words, you put them together, then you take out the middle letter, you put a comma in there and you raise it up!"
