Born in Canada. My father, actor John Vernon (best known for his role as Dean Wormer in Animal House) moved our family to Hollywood when I was 7 years old. Being raised in an acting family and in Los Angeles, it seemed only natural that I would explore those "acting" waters. Finding tremendous joy in having a safe and creative channel for my energies and ideas, I dove into acting headfirst!
After encountering initial resistance from talent agents, my career began with booking four roles on the first four auditions and since then I have worked continuously. My work has included guest-starring or recurring roles on Nash Bridges, Who's the Boss, L.A. Law and Hunter, to name a few. In addition, I have starred in numerous films made for television on Showtime, USA, Hallmark, HBO and Lifetime.
I have had the extreme pleasure of working with such great talents as Denzel Washington in "Malcolm X", James Spader in "Pretty in Pink", Tony Curtis, Ian McShane, Dick Van Dyke, Lou Diamond Phillips, Peter Falk, Richard Thomas and of course Edward James Olmos on Battlestar Galatica. I have also been blessed with great directors such as Spike Lee, John Woo, Howie Deutch and Mimi Leder.
It was so good to finally meet you this weekend. Thank you for the photographs, the autographs, and your conversation and company. I hope you enjoyed yourself as much as I did.
Back home in Edinburgh, with my cat asleep by the fire - life is sometimes not bad!

Wow, it looks as though every one loves you and fantasizes over you! Even Rahjeed at the stop and Shop said that " I vould give her a veddey special deal on de Nachos and let her drink from de Icee macine!" So, I don't know that I would ever have a chance; however, if you ever have the urge to go out with a slightly out of shape, broke, part time alcoholic, full time pilot that has a caustic out look on life in general, but finds a way to laugh at it anyway: give me a call!
