What can I say about myself, hmmm? Ok here goes.. I love art, love drawing and painting.
I've been drawing and painting all my life. My mum tells me that I started drawing before I could even walk and I didn't start walking until I was 3 years old. She tells me that she would sit me on the floor with paper and a pencil and that I would stay their contently, drawing circles and then colouring them in.
I'm a Lancashire lass who grew up in various parts of the UK but has also lived, worked and studied in the USA. I came back to the UK to do my degree in Design Management at the Surrey Institute Of Art And Design.
I'm currently trying to organise my first exhibition in London in 2007. I run my own .. gallery at www.expressartgallery.com.
I don't really have a specific style that I like to do or are inspired by. I paint whatever is in my heart or my mind so I do a wide variety of different things. My paintbrushes come up with the style depending on my mood :-D. I love working in oil, but also like pencil, pastel and watercolour. I'm inspired by such things as: the people around me, my surroundings, places of natural beauty like the countryside - beachs & the sea - the night sky, visiting new places (really want to go to Italy), meeting new people and colour.
I'm also very into music which plays apart in inspiring me. I always listen to music while I paint and my influences over the last few weeks have been Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Deborah Gibson, Motown, Faith Hill, Oasis, U2, Enya and the classical group Bond,

Heroes
My mum and people who are honest, follow their hearts, are truthful, inspiring and make a difference. I have no time for people who lie, play games, are ignorant, prejudice or abusive to others in anyway.
About me: When I'm not drawing or painting, I like spending time with my friends and loved ones. I like going out in the countryside on my mountain bike, going to clubs and bars and dancing. Love travelling and have been to France, Germany, Eire, Brussels, Spain, Portugal, USA, Tunisia. Love theatre, concerts, art galleries and exhibitions, chocolate, cheese, good food and fine wine.
Who I'd like to meet: I have already met one of the people that inspire me - Deborah Gibson - and she is one of the most inspiring, nicest women you could ever meet. Their are many others I'd like to meet, but high up on my list are Jodie Foster, Tracey Emin, Celine Dion, Madonna, Richard Branson and the painter Roger Large who I had the pleasure of meeting last summer in his studio and I would love to meet and talk to him again :-)
