KathariK is a 5-piece metal band from Sanford, Florida. Originally known as Follow The Ember, they changed their name to KathariK in 2008. Their self-recorded demo entitled Last Hour was recently finished and is available for free. They are working on playing shows all over Florida and writing new material. Our band name is derived from the word catharsis, which means releasing of emotions through music. The pronunciation of KathariK is similar to the pronunciation of catharsis. (kuh-THAR-ick)
