As a child, whenever I was asked, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" I always answered that I wanted to be a writer. Of course, the customary response was usually along the lines of, "Yes, but what do you want your real job to be?"
For a while I listened to these people and turned away from my dream, but gradually I realized that all I really needed was to believe in myself. I went back to school, earned my Bachelor of Arts in English, and found my first job as a technical writer weeks before graduation.
After a strong start writing Internet copy on the side, I decided to pursue a full-time career as a freelance writer. To date, I've written a multitude of keyword articles, press releases, reviews, and special interest articles.
