The standard of sound, performance and the very material of KF's music became so high in Russia, that the domestic music market gradually saw the group go deep underground. Nevertheless, in subsequent years, 'KF' have managed to build up a huge fan base, true lovers of genuine music and live sound.
"We've been playing together for 17 years, needless to say we are brothers in arms. But for the first time, while recording the songs, we let the process flow. We said what we wanted to say. We simply enjoyed ourselves. And we knew that it didn't really matter how many notes you can play in a second. We aimed to stress the melody and harmony by simple arrangements and clean and pure sound."
KATHERINE'S FAVORITES consider their recent album 'Break The Ice'
a success. In spite the complexity of the music and all the hours of hard
work, the band feels like the album is a new beginning.
"To create something new, something better has become KF's motto
over the last few months with the composition of 20 new songs, 10 of
which will form the basis of the next album.
