I probably have a (approximately) 5-track mind.
1. Music is one of my biggest passions and I'd describe my taste as "selective eclectic".
2. FOOD!
3. Stories. I used to read obsessively and incessantly. I also love television, movies, the theatre...the wonderful thing about musicals is that they combine music and story telling - a pretty awesome combination.
4. Good conversation. Be it with life-long friends or strangers on the train - connection can be a fabulous thing.
5. Some things, a girl has just got to keep to herself. ;-)
Musica
- Top 4 musicals: Miss Saigon, Les Mis, Rent and West Side Story;
- Singers/bands: Jason Mraz, Brooke Fraser, John Mayer, Lior, Eliot Morris, Gregory Page and anyone that carries it well live;
- Composers: Schonberg, Gershwin, Sondhiem, Bernstein, Chopin, Debussy, Mozart, Haydn, John Bennett, Lauridsen;
- Genres: Accoustic, intelligent pop/rock/alternative, easy-listening, jazz, FUSION, IMPROV (I suck at it but I sure appreciate it when it is well done), musical theatre, classical, classics, madrigals;
- Pieces I wish like hell that I could sing/play well: Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, Chopin's Fantasie Impromptu, Mason William's Classical Gas, "The sun whose rays are all ablaze" (The Mikado), "A Boy Like That/I Have A Love" (West Side Story), "Remember when it rained" (Josh Groban - can't imagine myself ever turning into a tenor though!);
- My favourite MySpace-discovered musician is Eliot Morris (talented and lovely to boot);
- New discoveries: Megan Washington, Ozomatli;
- but then there is a lot of other miscellaneous that I adore and can't possibly put down here...so I won't.
Film
As It Is In Heaven, The Shawshank Redemption, The Matrix (I), Moulin Rouge, Rent, West Side Story, Chicago, What Dreams May Come, Good Will Hunting, The Fellowship of the Ring, The Labyrinth, Hairspray, Sweeny Todd
Libri
Once upon a time I was a veritable bookworm. I've had less time as of late, but still love a good read. Fiction over non-fiction, and definitely a fantasy fan, but open to suggestions - so suggest something! =)
Eroi
My mother. Yes it's such a cliche, but I mean it sincerely. She drives me up the wall, but her strength of character, sense of duty and what is "right", stamina, resolve, compassion and kindness is...wondrous. Inspiring.

Chi sono: If you want to know about me, talk to me. Or you could always read my profile, my blogs...and then talk to me.
Three things that I think are underrated:
1. Human touch/contact - it's amazing how that smile, hug, carress can make all the difference to your day;
2. Connection/communication - my eternal craving. To truly connect and engage with someone/something. It's so mysterious, because you just never know...;
3. The beauty in the ordinary. Everything has its value. You just have to know how to see it.
Three things that I will never say no to:
1. Music;
2. A hug;
3. A dance.
My profile song (10th October)
Artist: Just Off Turner
Song: Just Go Why?
It was time for a new profile song (not to mention a certain someone kept complaining about it!), and I really like this band. The subject matter is...vaguely appropriate. :|
Mi piacerebbe conoscere: I love meeting new people - full stop.
On top of that I love if they are interesting to talk to.
On top of that I love if there are interests to be shared.
Bonus points if you:
- love your music;
- will sing with me, randomly, any time and any where, in harmony and in tune!;
- are a fellow chocaholic;
- have a sense of humour;
- are spontaneous;
- want to make the world a better place.
That being said I do have some MySpace 'friend-making policies'. They are more thoroughly articulated in my blogs, but in brief:
1. If you are a random musician befriending me to boost your MySpace profile, that is fine - if you are friendly. If you are not, you sure as hell better be good or I will deny/delete you.
2. If you simply want to be friends, that is cool - just give me enough information about you and how you found me to reassure me that you are not a cyber-creep/sleaze, k? OK!
hey! just wanted to stop in let you know that I've changed my artist name to Adrian Edward but it's still me, I'm not going anywhere! lol! have a great night much love ~adrian edward
Hey, have an awesome weekend! I am just enjoying a quiet afternoon before heading out into the city tonight. hope all is well. much love ~adrian adriannrhen. com
thankyou so much. I think we weren't as professional as we could have been but we had fun. Heaps of fun. The crowd were really listening to the words and they giggled. That was really rare. It was a special night. once again thanks....Want to be our Myspace friend:)
Hey there! I *rarely* use MySpace, but thank goodness for receiving e-mail notifications about comments and blogs. :)
Too bad I didn't see the Brooke promo yesterday... I went to Virgin Megastore in Times Square yesterday, and the staff was SO unnecessarily rude that I've vowed not to go back even though I used to enjoy going there. Anyway, if I find myself in a store that sells CDs now through July 15, you know who's getting unreleased music. :)
Hiya there Katherine, long time no speak! Happy New Year to ya - I hope you're well and 2008 is going good for you.
I've got two new songs called 'Cries' and 'This Boy Child' up now and also a re-mastered version of 'The Man Himself', please stop by and check them out if you get the time.
Thanks for your continued support - it's much appreciated, take care for now.

Just wanted to say that I read your latest blog. Mine totally pales in comparison. Yes, I do realize I can be a bit boring... although I wouldn't wish what you've been through on anyone. See ya back on Facebook... I was wondering what your status updates were all about. That is all.
