God, People, Love and Art. I also like to swim and goof around on myspace. I spend an embarrassing amount of time Googling Wilder on the internet. I have a very stressful day job, so this is my unwind, that's how I like to think of it. Gene Wilder makes me think of how nice it is to be in love, to savor life , to enjoy each other. He is such a big hedonist, yet he is really a great humanitarian as well. I really get sick of thinking about him, but it seems to be some sort of wierd addiction. This crazy world that we live in is driving me Madd. I can't even live in it anymore, so i live in my head. I put my self on auto pilot each day and do my job with some effort, but as little emotion as possible. If the emotions come out, it's like a floodgate. I cant be a floodgate, not with my job. My job requires that you have a big fake/sincere looking smile all the time. Nothing real is ever communicate with the body. My charges, as I will refer to them, are very dramatic, selfish, lieing and are not expected to be anything else. They are horrible to each other, they beat each other, and rape each other and are in gereral, awful and take advantage by lieing, stealing and turning each other in to either the authoriitys for cash, or to a rival group of people. When one of them is down, they all take turns kicking the fallen one. It is a closed system a system of abuse and silence. Anyway, that is why I think about Gene Wilder all the damn time. I like to think about whoat he would do in a given situation. Gene Wilder is brilliant and I think that he is a wizard at interpreting situations an causing the norn to drop out and something new take it's place. He is crazy, but it's all good, and it's really sanity to not respond like a crazy person when faced with a situation of compleate lunacy. Someone should act like what is happening is really happening. My GOd, a little boy, just 16 raped and beat a little girl (18) so badly in the parking lot of a library. She was returning her books, he beat her so badly that he has not woken up yet, it has been a week now, I think she may have died already. My mom told me about the migrant workers that had to wear extra clothing to help prevent the frequent rapes that these women endure on a regular basis. they are afraid and do not speak out about this awful treatment. These are women that must cry every-night living only a few miles from my home. I can hear their crys, but still I am too afraid to help them, or too ambiguous. What does it mean to be my brothers keeper. what does it mean to love my brothers and sister, it means that if they are in trouble and in need and they need someone who has a voice (ME) instead isolate myself from this disgusting world and curl into my sweet husbands shoulder an fall asleep. When he is not available, there is Gene Wilder and myspace, and if no one is available, then there is liqueur and drugs. fortunately Gene Wilder is available 24/7 with myspace fans and movies and otherwise stalking him on the internet when i should be off saving the planet or something more productive .
this is actually not my pool, but it would do just fine.
I am currently interested in light, transparency, truth, nature and the color of green. I am studying the painting style of claud Monet at present. He is rather difficult, I was surprised at how difficult is is to emulate his style. I am also a fan of Marc Chagall, Andrw Wyeth and Hundertwasser;. I have also had a miner obsession with Klimt

This is us a long time ago, a friend, Jenine took this picture at a surprise ambush. We had to sneak away too secluded places like this copper mine polluted river called the Blue Hole in Polk County TN. I am so glad she took this picture because we never stop to take many pictures of us.
Music
I love the piano, cello, violin and music that sounds like music. I do enjoy folk, rap, reggae, latin, social songs and celtic hymns. I really like a variety of music, but not the rock or pop so much.
Movies
A scanner Darkly was very intense, very interesting. Miss Potter was lovely, everyone did a great job with that. See Sicko, realize that Micheal Moore has the best intentions and that he is telling the truth, just as Ralph Nader did. Americans are too stupid to think for themselves. I wish I was French because they really do love liberty, humanity and democracy in a sophisticated way. We are slowly becoming the the next third world country. Idiocracy is really funny. I usually go for the funny, ridiculous, and bizarre, but I do not like violent, filthy, overly sexual films, so that limits what is available for me to see.
Nacho Libre' was really funny, great for laughs. Dopamine was very intereting. I enjoy films that deal with time metaphors and memory like "Click" or 50 first dates, Being John Malkovich, Spottless mind, Momento. I love movies that are Funny, sweet, benign. "Prize Winner" was really a great film. I resonated with that one the day after. Very talented actors as well.. Casanova was funny! "I Love Your Work" was interesting, dark humor.
Other favorites are Willy Wonka, Sherlock Holmes Smarter Brother, World's Greatest lover , Allegria, Stella, Slacker, How to Get a Head in Advertising, SLeeper, Evythng u alwys wtd 2 no abt sx, annie hall, I luv Hucabees, Amercan Beauty, just about anything that woody Allen, Robin Williams, GW , of course and Bette Midler, Dan Akroyd, are in ....
I will watch action adventure films, and I do love most a Sci- Fi. Loved the Matrix, Stargate, Star trek, Next Gen, any thing named Star ______, but not Star Wars, I always was bored by that one.

++++++++++++++++++ Gene Therapy, reposted from Needcoffee.co,
Ah, Gene Wilder. There's so many reasons to love you. The Producers. Young Frankenstein. Willy Wonka. The list goes on. Dammit, we miss you. And we've actually seen the bits you did on Will & Grace (we waited outside the room and someone would yell when you were on screen and so it was safe to watch that piece of crap show)--so we know you still have it. Please make more movies. Sigh.
Everyone's seen the obvious Wilder classics. But Fox has brought us two of his lesser known flicks that honestly deserve a wider audience.
The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes' Smarter Brother is notable not only for the fact that you've got Wilder, along with Madeline Kahn, Marty Feldman, Dom DeLuise and Leo McKern, doing a great send-up of the titular sleuth. Wilder plays Sigerson Holmes, and resents his older brother's talent and reputation. He gets his chance to shine, however, when Sherlock is away and sends Sigerson on a case of his own--and thus, the game is afoot. It's notable because Wilder wrote and directed the film as well. No wonder they were able to get him in to do an audio commentary on the film.
That's the case with World's Greatest Lover as well, which has DeLuise again as well as Carol Kane. Wilder writes and directs and provides a commentary. This time around, he's a regular old guy who thinks he's got what it takes and answers Hollywood's call for the next Valentino, only to almost lose his wife in the process.
Kudos to Fox for releasing these so that they can get the views that they are due, and Wilder is to be commended for giving us some commentaries. Now if we could just talk him into providing them for his other films (or, mayhap, convincing the studios to cough up the coin to make that happen).
Television
I love AV equipment. I like to watch HD programming. I am always fiddling with the components, trying to get just the right set up. TV programming ranges from boring to just baddddd. I am so sickened by the awful way people treat each other. I am sick of the sarcasm. I want funny, insanely funny, riduiculous, even without drugs, FUNNY.
Books
Mere Christianity and The Abolition of Man, by C.S. Lewis
A contemporary artist and writer is Vic Munez, great artist and a better writer!
My Husband, he is always there for me. thanks goodness for that!!
But more historically admired are Jesus, John the Apostle, Michelangelo, Leonardo, Van Gogh, Artemesia. More contemporary heros are Corrie Ten Boom, Mother Theresa, Ghandi, Ruth Bell Graham, Jimmy Carter , Ralph Nader, Amy Goodman. For entertainers I admire the work of Gene Wilder, In Fact I changed my Last name to his because I think that , if he had a daugther, I would be her.
I just adore his personality and all of his work. I think that aside from God, my husband, and some of the better therapists , he has brought more healing to my soul than anyone else.
My husband bears a resemblance to him, and their voices squeak and quake the same way. I think that I may have married someone like Gene Wilder. +++++++++Takiyah did this wonderful charcoal drawing.
I also admire Albrecht Durer ( Martin Luther's Cartoonist), Martin Luther, Thomas Edison, Catherine the Great, Chagall, Billy Graham, Howard Gardner, Hosea, Mary Magdalene, Dali, Alexander Calder, C.S.Lewis, Marcel Marceau, Andrew Wyeth, Andy Goldsworthy, Priscilla Kepner Sage, Martin Luther King, Amy Goodman, Marlo Thomas, Vic Munez

I am obsessed with him. I have the purple coat, almost all the movies, I want to be him! I think we are very similar personalities, and I admire his work. I have found this wonderful golden thread that runs through everything I have seen.
I even went to NY to see him at the 92ndY, I am hopeless, but I did find out that he was not omniscient, as I once thought.
