Sister Dana Van Iquity writes, "[Kathleen Antonia's] renditions of 'It Had to Be You,' 'My Foolish Heart,' and 'Where Or When' (from Babes in Arms) are showcases of her sweet lyric soprano voice. But then you hear 'Don't Get Around Much Anymore' and 'At Last' and decide it is her resonating alto voice that really knocks you out. Her range is astonishing: at one time a dulcet soprano and at another an intense, full-bodied alto. ... Next Time is worth your time." *$12.99 bargain price available online exclusively at CD Baby*

"Next Time" is a "brilliant new CD release ... a baker's dozen of delicious standards to be sure." - Sister Dana Van Iquity, San Francisco Bay Times (December 27, 2007)
“[‘Next Time’ is] such a sweet sentimental journey showcasing [Kathleen Antonia’s] emotional range as a singer. …. [‘Next Time’ is] the perfect Christmas gift for any one in your family and friends who love jazz and the vocal standards that EVERY type of folk all can recognize and enjoy.” - Leo Frappier, LFB (December 3, 2007)
LFB's In the Midnight Hour "standout track is 'Body Electric', which combines the aggressive voice of Kathleen Antonia and her supple, storytelling delivery." - Erin Worm, Evolution of Media (Jan. 2008)
"One performer that wowed me with her amazing stage presence was Kathleen Antonia at the LFB / In the Midnight Hour CD release party. She did a tribute to Jo Carol singing Everywoman. Jo Carol unfortunately passed away due to a brain aneurysm. Kathleen brought a boyfriend front/center of all the fans and seduced him with her sultry vocals. I highly recommend her album [Next Time] at the web link above." - Mike Andrews, Kathleen Antonia Shines at the LFB CD Launch Party (Nov. 2007)
The Body Electric: "vocalitá, ora sexy, ora errebí, ora narrative, ora aperte" ("vocals that are at once sexy and breathy, sometimes conversational, sometimes open")
- Davide Carabini, Una Mezzanotte Sexy ("A Sexy Midnight"),
Acid Jazz (August 2007, Italian Edition)
"[I]t's the songs themselves that make the show [My Way – A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra], as each cast member adds his or her own stylistic interpretation of the lyrics. In particular, Kathleen Antonia captivated the audience with her rendition of 'Indian Summer' and 'That Old Black Magic.'"- Dave Moodie, The Sneak Preview
"The lovely Kathleen Antonia is a standout [in HairStory – A Musical With Roots], delivering a sweet, compelling 'When I Am Laid to Earth' ... a buoyant disco-soul 'Don't Box Me' … and a knockout bluesy torch number about getting hot and bothered with a 'Fine Tooth Comb'." - Robert Hurwitt, San Francisco Chronicle
