| General | Of course, art, going to museums and seeing other artists works, old and new. My newest interest is my new dog "Pixie", she is a joy to me everyday. I put some pictures of her in my pics in album "Personal Album". I love to travel,I have been blessed with several trips to Europe, mainly France, Germany, and Amsterdam, which deepened my love for art even more. I love to dance. I especially love laughing, and being around people I can be myself with. Deep talks, sharing wisdom and growing spiritually. | | Music | I have a wide varity of interests in music, it depends on the mood I'm in. Rock and Roll for dancing, Ragae is wonderful, I can sing most oldies, I listen to instramental every night to go to sleep. Love Jazz too, and love drumming music, as well as wave music. | | Movies | I like a movie that gives me all the emotions....laughing, crying, scared, etc.Thrillers are good. I like romantic ones too. | | Television | I like TV, I listen while I create.....Love Oprah, she is amazing, Dr. Phil, Medium, Ghost Whisperer, Survivor, I like shows that teach me something, there's more I'm sure. | | Books | Ahhhh, I have read some that have truly changed my life, Celestine Prophecy for one, The Divinci Code was great, Seat of the Soul, Are You The One For Me....taught and healed me so much. Many of Sylvia Brown's books, I could not list all my favorites, it would be a long list. Almost any book that I can grow in mind, body and spirit. | | Heroes | My sons are my biggest heros. My Mom, who always believed in me and inspired me as an artist. My brothers who know who I really am, and accept me for that. I think Oprah is one without a doubt. My friends, Darcy and Dolma, Becky, Tamara, who listen and keep me sane are heros for their patience and understanding, and always have my back. God and Mother God are most high on my list of heros. |

About me:
Hello, my name is Kathleen Chaney a local artist in Idyllwild, Ca. I love to create! Painting rocks is one of my favorite mediums, I also do many other mediums, such as; book illustrations, book covers, soft sculpture, clay sculpture, jewlery, calligraphy, murals, paintings, really anything that inspires me. My family and friends are very important to me, I love spending time with them. They are beautiful people who love me just the way I am, and I feel the same way about them. Below is a slide show of "Flying Pigment Studio" where you can see some of my art, and even meet me there on the weekends. The address is, 54325 N. Circle Drive.
