Kathryn A Taylor's Blurbs |
About me:
I'm a history buff with a fascination for the little details who reads endlessly, researches fanatically, and writes obsessively. A college focus of Interior Design spiced with English and History gave me a desire to design my own castles and then populate them with people from scullery maids to dukes. My taste in reading is as diverse as in my writing. Anything from romance, historical or contemporary, to science-fiction/fantasy and mystery.

Who I'd like to meet:
Alive? Bob Geldof(man behind Live Aid); Bill Clinton(so I could tell him he shoulda shown better taste in floozies); Just about anyone with a Glaswegian accent(can't understand half what they say, but love the sound).
Dead? (Much more interesting selection available) Shakespeare of course(when he turns out to be Queen Lizzie? do I have to tell?); Jane Austen(wouldn't she be surprised to hear what people think about her works today). Georgette Heyer(wouldn't she be unimpressed that I consider her my inspiration?). Cleopatra would be an interesting woman to meet. Prince Regent(Prinny) and his "true love" Maria Fitzherbert would be great for research purposes(could I survive the loss of my "idealistic filter"?)
For all of them--I'd have one request: Keep detailed journals and hide them so they aren't found for a couple hundred years but then have them become available. We have so many Questions!
