Interests

  • General

Photography, Hawaii stuff, Music & Sea Turtles.

  • Music

I'll listen to anything good. I like to listen to Adult Contemporary and when I'm in the mood to have a little fun, I like to listen to disco and act like a silly fool. while working on the computer I'm normally listening to Hawaiian Music on alohajoe.com.
  • Movies

I like my Chick Flicks or a good comedy! I like the movies with Hawaii in them, like 50 First Dates! Pretty Woman is my all time favorite. Other favorites are Pay it Forward (the ending sucks) and Somewhere In Time. No Scary movies for this girl and I don't like most of the action movies cause they are so loud.
  • Books

Duck, There's A Goose In The House.
  • Heroes

Heroes are people who I see believing in or helping others. I really think the world of my friends. To me they are my heroes for all the little things they do.

About me:

I enjoy talking to people who love Hawaii or taking pictures, but please don't bug me if you are wanting more than friendship or photography. I don't cook, clean, do laundry or any of that other stuff so I'm not the woman of anyone's dreams. I have a great husband already and would like to keep him. ..I'm happiest taking a zillion photos if the mood strikes me but the down side to that is going through them all and trying to remember where I stored them. ~ I have shot a few Hawaiian Music CD covers and would love to do more. My hope is to help promote artists who have a connection to HAWAII or they have the ALOHA Spirit.. Vist my FAVORITE online radio station: .. A great day starts and ends when you share ALOHA...

"Ticklin' The Strings" by Sweet Hollywaiians
Amazing Japanese hot string band playing 1920's, 30's, 40's style hawaiian, swing, calypso, blues, italian music and originals, featuring vintage instruments.3 songs with Robert Armstrong and Tony Marcus(from Robert Crumb and His Cheap Suit Serenaders)

"The Sweet Hollywaiians have probably the best feel for this 20's music of any string band working today. They manage the rare feat of sounding relaxed even when their playing is hot, are top notch musicians with tasteful arrangements and a full, rich, warm sound.Plus, they have a nice gamut of tunes, from King Nawahi to Giovanni Vicari to Bobby Leecan. See them live, if you can, for an unforgettable experience. If you can't, buy their Cds!" ~ Terry Zwigoff
