KCJ - piano, guitar, voice, percussion and a little fiddle. In three different bands I am thrilled to be joined by some top notch players: ALBEE TELLONE - a walking music encyclopedia. He shines on mandolin, guitar and bass.
DEEANN GILLESPIE -- an awesome violinist whose playing will simply give you goose bumps and she sings too! Whether it's sweet old time music, sultry swing or firey gypsy tunes - this girl can do it right!
GRESHEM McMILLON - a maniac on upright bass! What a joy to play with.
CHARLIE WHITE - a hot player, and sought after Nashville session man. He keeps us on our toes with his outstanding guitar and vocal work.
Also, in the all girl, old-time string band PATCHWORK, I am so lucky to raise heck with CHA POOL, CRYSTAL MCCOOL, and MARY TANGEN-GIGER What a hoot these gals are!
Influences

Music Background . . .
I began the gigging life playing piano at a sing-a-long beach bar in North Carolina. From there I went on to playing all kinds of venues for all kinds of folks, including lots of children's programs. Music has brought so many people and experiences into my life that I would have not known otherwise (like crewing on a 108 year old Chesapeake Schooner), and for that I am thankful.
My interests include blues, folk, rock, bluegrass, swing, etc . . . These days I am especially drawn towards the ragtime blues and swing of the 30's and 40's. I love to write and my songs come out in as many varied styles as my interests. I released my first CD ‘a little wiser'* in 2000. It is collection of my earlier originals, recorded with some great North Carolina friends. I currently have 3 more projects that I'm working on (in my ever-so-manic way): an old timey piano CD, a children's album and another collection of more current originals.
These days I am traveling with my family a great deal so it is challenging to do much gigging or maintain a steady band. But I am very blessed with a great group of talented musician friends to play with when I'm home. Some of us perform regularly at the Ozark Folk Center (ozarkfolkcenter.com), an Arkansas state park dedicated to preserving the traditional music and crafts of the region.

Howdy Kathy, Have ya'll got any snow yet? Those Saint Vitus Dance Band videos are great. When I was a youngster my grandmother used to tell me that I had Saint Vitus Dance! I think it means I can't stay still! I trust all is well with you and yours. Peace, Good Things, Denver Twigg
This compendium of illiterations, art, literature and journalism is a compost pile of fermenting illiterati to toss onto the garden of your imagination to further fertilize it to yield a bounty of ideas and free thought. It breaks rules as it does not recognize good grammer in some instances as the final authority over random thought. The words and art herein hopefully fall from an imaginary pinata as delightful and delicious candy.

How I LOVE IT when the music magic reconnects part of the endless circle of bard kin. It's so nice to hear from you, and tho I have to get moving in another second, I can't wait to stop by later , to spend a little more time.
Bless you, your family, your music and the roads you travel, Kitty
