Having been mutual jammers for years, Katie and the Dull Fudds evolved from songs ad-libbed round a camp fire in the early hours of the morning, developing them into songs that combine a groove and drive with the original spine chilling melodies. The underlying drum and bass groove takes from rock music, dance music and is then used for keepy-ups by sir death metal. Contrasting beautifully are the infectious melodies of J-foo's flute: sometimes folky, sometimes ska, the harmonies of this, Foo's voice and Katies sometimes anthemic vocals are genuinely haunting yet superbly singalong. ...............................................................................................................
