A Christmas Poem **“Snowflake”**

“A snowflake gently floats into my eye.
A split second sting reminds me it's great to be alive
Fine crystal beads of ice,intricately formed,arranged and shaped
Each one unique
Like you and I.
This time of year is like no other
Mother,Father,Sister,Brother
All the family comes together
As the snow falls,the lights flicker in the distance
I know the way
To the worlds most special place

“I would walk through the snow
In my bare feet.
Travel across a desert in the searing heat
No food,no water,
My cup to drink
Is in your hands,
To give and take away
At your command
My loyalty for you
Is a religion
Not based on reason
Or any emotional decision
The man who walks
Over hot charcoal
Feels no pain
As body and soul remain
Free from any human situation,
The power of love
Will always conquer
The torture of hurt.
When all words for you are spoken
There is no more I need to say.
For I can never be broken
Unless you take your love away.
Through the long cold winter nights
Crystal ice sparkles through morning light,
I will hold you by my side,
There is nothing I wouldn't do.
My love lays down it's life,
