I like to write honest songs that come from my life experience. I tend to gravitate toward simplicity rather than a musically complex piece. While I appreciate complexity as much as the next person, I find that it doesn't speak to my heart as clearly. I like to share things with the audience and have an experience together. That is what it is all about. I also am a classically trained cellist and I perform in that arena as well, but I do not take myself so seriously. I try to enjoy any experience that comes my way. Right now I can most readily describe myself as a warrior musician, fighting to speak the truth at all costs.
