Sounds Like
a journey... of fears, pain, joy, lessons learned, the people in my world, broken hearts, hearts mending, ups, downs.... my life.
"This emotion filled solo act takes you on the journey down the roads of life right along with her… A journey through melancholy melodies and lyrics that search for truth in a world of sadness. Her words reflect the experiences that Katie has perceived in her life and in the lives of others. Her music enables you find the beauty in the little things. Her voice has captured that unique quality of a vocal artist that touches the soul and reflects upon lifetime memories."
Once upon a time there was a girl named Katie... her life... was MUSIC.
She decided to do the music makin' and dream chasin' thing and ended up moving to Austin, Texas to do it.
she had a CD out now entitled "A Passing Afternoon" (produced by Scot Q. Merry) that was available through her (just say the word and she'll send you one), at Veronica's Cafe (in Kenai Alaska) and at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/katieevans
she had a secret desire to learn to play every instrument ever created.... but, for now she played the guitar and the piano... and knew her way around the drums and the bass.
she could not wait to go on tour.
writing songs was a favorite thing. so was singing harmony.
sometimes it was a song that could change her entire day.
and it meant more to her than she could say that you took the time to stop by and listen to a song or two....
...The End.
