About me:

Oh life! I feel like I've written a million of these "About Me" sections because my life definitely does not stay very stable for too long! But at least it's never boring. Consistency comes with my family and my cat, who is also family :) I am definitely blessed to have the family I do. I hit the Mom Jackpot. My mom is smart, beautiful, insightful, caring, patient and sensitive and has always made me feel like I'm important, whether I'm bitching about a bad haircut or crying about a break up. She never makes me feel like my problems are trivial and that makes her really special to me. My dad is amazing as well. He is one of those really amazing success stories about a kid who comes from nothing and turns into a huge contributing member of society. He made a career in education and has always been the one pushing me to be my best...which at times I hate lol but if it weren't for him I'm not sure I would ever realize my own potential. Dad and I love our wine! I love sittin on the patio and chatting with him while we drink. It's a bonding thing that I would never change. My sister is the most kind hearted person I know. She cares for people in a way that most of us can't understand. Almost too much...she will give away everything she has to help people. We like to say we are the kind of people who feel bad for serial killers...she has the kind of compassion that I wish I could possess. And she's gorgeous, and doesn't realize it, which makes her even more beautiful. As I have gotten older I really appreciate the kind of sister relationship we have. Plus, she gave me my nephew who is my pride and joy! He is a bouncy 4 year old with a huge personality. He lights me up like nobody ever has, or ever could. Just yesterday I taught him to floss his teeth and it was the best time I think I've ever had in my life! lol He is amazing, and so smart. Then there's my Gma...91 years old still attending three different study clubs where she gives reports on articles from National Geographic or about political issues. She is so sharp. And I'm not a religious person, but she gives me a little spark about spirituality because of how she lives her life. So that's my life in a nutshell, my family is my life and I am so much like all of them....if you ever need to understand me, just take a look at my family and you will! The last few months have been a big change for me and I am finally able to accept the place in my life that I am in. I just graduated from college, and have no clue what I want to do....but I have that degree and that makes me feel incredibly proud! I just ended a long relationship amicably and though it hurt at first, I feel 100% sure it was the right decision and I feel...well...free. I feel free to explore the different opportunities that are out there for me without feeling like I have anyone's expectations to live up to but my own. I feel an incredible sense of hope and excitement for what's to come! Some other fun facts: I am sensitive, love to hike, own my house, love my cat, am messy, love coffee, love love love country music, am extremely close to my friends they are definitely a second family to me, speak my mind, have zero tolerance for unkindness, work at cheesecake factory, love record players, have a potty mouth, love Sex and the City and Grey's Anatomy, don't have cable and haven't for a long time!, love lean cuisines, am a Leo, get really shy around new people, collect records, care a little too much what other people think, have a loud laugh, love flip flops, don't like spending money, love iced tea and diet cokes, love to travel, hope to get married and have kids one day (which is something I never thought I wanted), love daisies and all flowers, love being surprised and surprising people, would rather stay in than go out any day, love snuggling....hmmmm I guess that's all for now!
