So this is that space where I am supposed to talk in the third person about how I began my music career and all that crap.....but that's not so much me, and truthfully...there isn't much to say along those lines. So instead I'll tell you what I feel...that is so much more me.
I joke sometimes that my life is a musical. However, lately I'm realizing that it might actually be true. I find that there is a song that goes along with every emotion I feel. I've spent my whole life crying because of a song or laughing because of a song or just remembering a moment because of a song that comes on. I relate to music. It makes my weekly tv shows better. It makes my drive to work more enjoyable. Music makes me feel. It makes me feel less alone and it makes me smile when I'm on a road trip with Mel and we are singing out of key on purpose, to some 80's song that freakin rocks!
So I'd say my music "career" that isn't really a career, but more of a passion or a hobbie started because I like to sing. Music is my release. It's how I relate to life. I write because I feel something. I write because I see someone else feeling something. I sing because it moves me. And if it somehow seems to move someone else, that's just an added bonus.
I hope that you enjoy my music as much as I enjoy writing it. I hope that I can move you the way so many singer/song writers have moved me. Thank you so much for stopping by and for your support!
