Heroes
It may seem cliche but my Dad. I hope that I am one day just a fraction of the humanitarian he was. He was amazing and he gave his everything to give us all we needed. He never gave up, he never gave in, and he taught me how to be a fighter. I miss him everyday and the time we spent together singing, playing music, working on his old Volvo, watching Topper movies and Bing Crosby together. So many wonderful memories to always remind me about the sort of person I want to be.
Love. I mean does the thought of her, the smell of her, the touch of her make you quiver? I mean when she's away from you do you think about her and wish she were in your arms making love to you? Something That's Actually About Me!
Well, really I don't want to put much here. Not that I'm too lazy or too busy to (or maybe that is it, but lets pretend its not), but more because as someone who wants to be my friend its your job to find out who I am...where is the fun if I just give it all away on the first page? Sorry folks...if you want to know more about me you'll have to dig in and read me cover to cover...actually get to know me. I know...it may blow a few of your minds (being addicted to internet communication and all) but I'm an old fashioned girl.
Who I'd like to meet:
I'm looking for people who are real. People with good hearts who want to have a good friend. People who are creative and broad minded. People who are free thinkers and who don't fall prey to societies perceptions of what things should be like. I want to be a good friend to someone who can be a good friend to me.
What I'm not looking for is a date. I'm not looking for someone who just wants to add another friend to the 62,000+ already listed on their friends list. I'm not looking for people who are afraid to be themselves. Even if I don't like you I'll respect you more if you are an asshole being himself or herself instead of a nice person pretending to be what they think I want.
