About me:
The UHM Katipunan Club is comprised of all students currently enrolled in any of the Philippine Language & Literature Program courses offered at the University of Hawaii.
The Katipunan Club and the Philippine Language & Literature Program, under the University of Hawaii's Department of Hawaiian and Indo-Pacific Languages & Literatures, was organized in the Fall of 1992 by Dr. Teresita Ramos and Dr. Ruth Elynia Mabanglo. With original goals of jumpstarting interest within younger Filipino generations, the program now serves as the premiere collegiate-based resource center for the creation, preservation, and promotion of Filipino language, literature, and culture here in Hawaii.
