Hello World! Im singer-songwriter, Katrina Bello. I am an up and coming vocalist from the DC metropolitan area with my heart in R&B/Soul. I draw inspiration from singers like Nina Simone, Chaka Khan, Musiq Soulchild, and Aretha Franklin (the great!). My mom and pops played music in the house from day to night growing up and it gave me an eclectic taste in music. I love me some Van Morrison, Tracy Chapman, Fela Kuti--I could go on forever! I like to attribute that to what I believe is a unique sound. I love music to my core. This is what I'm doing with my life. Focused mannnn. :)
After spending two years at the University of Pittsburgh studying Nursing and then Business, I left after receiving a scholarship from Berklee College of Music. I just felt like it was a sign from God--like "K....do this with ur life." I would of always wondered "what if?", so Im in Boston now.Studying music. I hope to become a singer-songwriter and want to travel and perform my music around the world.
