I have been involved in the Seattle music scene since 2001 as Katrina Wible and now I will continue on as Katrina Kope. I love any and all kinds of music and you can see that by the different bands I am in at the moment. I was "jazzically" trained at Cornish College of the arts but I am continually learning from and growing with my fellow musicians. I love the Seattle music scene and I am very fortunate to be a part of it.
Currently, I am performing jazz around the area as the Katrina Kope Quartet for private as well as public events. You can also find me with my lovely band called Soul Kata. We perform original Funk/R&B/Pop music and recently had our 2nd CD release at the Triple Door mainstage in August. You can find our music on CD Baby, Itunes and Bandcamp. I have also been singing with local seattle reggae/funk band called Leisure Sound and will be releasing an EP in the Winter. I have also been performing as Kats Meow, which is my solo electronica/pop project. You will be able to find a CD by 2010 but in the meantime, you might find me at the Jewelbox Theatre.

2004 - "So True" My first Jazz CD recorded with Daren Clendenin, Clipper Anderson, and Steve Korne.
2006 - "Soul Kata" Self titled first full length album w/ band Soul Kata. Soul Kata includes Josh Rawlings, Willie Holiday, and Nate Omdal who are all Cornish alumni.
2008 - "More" Single with Soul Kata
2009 - "Here I Am" 2nd full length album with Soul Kata.
2009 - "Just a little Jazz" 2nd jazz CD recorded with Tim Kennedy, Birch Pereira, and Adam Kessler.
First CD with Leisure Sound to be released this winter

Hi Katrina...just wanted to stop by & make sure I thanked you for coming out to the Red Bicycle again on Friday night. Fantastic show, spectacular vocals and man, what a back-up band...those guys are really good. Vashon's a late crowd...started out a little slow, but the place was packed as the show progressed... Katrina....thanks so much for coming out to the Red Bike last Fri night! I was out of town visiting family, but I heard that everyone loved the music.
