Send 'em a piece of your mind! Watch this video, get pissed off... and take action! Thanks to our KatPack and Katfia members Evan and Brittney.
Send a KitKat bar to a few folks to protest Katharine not being invited to perform on American Idol this past season. And, if you're so inclined, write a NICE little note to let them know how disappointed you were.
And don't worry about the chocolate melting...we really aren't sending them treats now, are we?

Do You Have The McPheever?
Other stars who have the McPheever and what they are saying about Katharine McPhee
Juliana Hansen from the reality show Grease: You’re The One That I Want answered a few questions from fans recently. One of the questions happen to be about American Idol and Katharine McPhee. This is what she had to say about Kat McPhee and the show… “I have always been a fan of Idol. I think its a phenomenal way to launch v. talented people into huge careers, and its genius to involve the American public...let all of US choose who we wanna hear on the radio! That said, I don't watch it religiously, but I am definitely a big fan of Katharine McPhee's! She is truly great!”
With that said her being so generous about Kat. If you’d like to check out the rest of the Q and A’s go to www.myspace.com/julianafans It will be located in the Blog section.
Also don’t hesitate to check out Juliana’s Official Myspace at www.myspace.com/julianahansen if you are interested in learning more about her.
When Katharine McPhee first appeared on American Idol, many people
were struck by the "McPheever" (before KROQ's DJ Ralph had coined the
term) and sought out others who also felt moved by this talented,
charming, and beautiful new singer. One of the first "Katharine"
blogs to appear on the American Idol website was written by a person
with the screen name "Kyoty07." Katharine's early fans congregated
at that blog to talk about her performances, to discuss how to keep
her hopes alive in the competition, and to decide what they should
call themselves as a fan group. Several names were suggested, but
everyone knew they'd hit on the right one when someone threw out the
name "Kat Pack."
The Kat Pack name first became known to Katharine and her family when
Laurie from Louisiana sent an embroidered blanket to her on behalf of
the Kat Pack. Kim (screen name Trist) was also instrumental in
organizing the Kat Pack group and initiated early fan projects like
the "last girl standing" toenail polish project and the 1,000 Roses
project. Katharine's mother, Peisha McPhee, and friends Sean Hardy
and Diane Davis were very supportive of the Kat Pack from the start.
They helped us get mail to her and gave us photos and things.
Creative Kat Pack fan projects continue to this day.
Katharine's first public shout-outs to the Kat Pack came during the
American Idol show and in her first Good Day LA interview. The "Kat
Pack" name soon also began springing up in places like Rolling Stone
magazine, IMDB (Internet Movie Database), and US Weekly. While
members of the Kat Pack continued posting messages
in the "Katharine" forum of the American Idol boards, shortly after
the Kat Pack got it's name, its founder Kyotoy07 disappeared. The
only time he reappeared was on the night of the Top 3, which seemed
like such a great omen at the time -- and turned out to be exactly
that. Katharine made it on through to the finale, and the rest is
history.
As American Idol Season 5 drew to a close, the Kat Pack was "rescued"
from the American Idol boards and moved to MySpace by Jennie and
Laurie, with the original Kat Pack members list intact, and new fans
continuing to be added each week. The Kat Pack started as a way for
fans to gather in support of Katharine McPhee during the American
Idol competition, and its mission continues to be to unite
Katharine's fans under one roof in an ongoing effort to promote the
talented Katharine McPhee.

Crissie's son Kasey met Kat in August at the Six Flags event in Saint Louis who at the time was at 18 months old. And here is her story behind before and at the meet.. Ever since Kat was on Idol...he's loved her...seriously, even at 5 months old. There was something soothing about her voice to him and when he would get fussy, I would turn my DVR on and play her and he would truly stop. At the show we were on 2nd row and he was blowing her kisses and waving at her...and now he calls her PheePhee...it's so cute. By: Crissie (KatPack #1532)
Exclusive News!!<
Hey everyone,
As most of you know Katharine McPhee gave us all an amazing Christmas Gift last year of her redition to O Come ALL Ye Faithful with a message.
Well, this year Katharine recorded it in the studio again and is released publicly for everyone AND featured on iTunes holiday page!
The recording is not a label supported effort and is not being officially released to radiostations. So it is our job as her fans to promote it. We do have permission to do our own local radio station distribution and promotion as well.
And one last thing. Katharine will be singing it at the Washington DC Christmas Special that will be aired Dec. 12th,on TNT. So check your local listings for the times that it will be on. She will be singing O Come All Ye Faithful.
If you would like to be a member of the KatPack, send us a message and we will give you a KatPack member number.
If you need a background, a contact box or any other Katharine graphic for your MySpace page, click on the link below. Adding more as we get the chance. If you have questions on how to put them with the codes for Myspace please send us a message or email at inawhirlwindofdreams@hotmail.com
