Bio
...... ..Kat was born and was raised in the Seattle area just as it was turning into the melting pot of the musical world. It all started when she was 4 years old as she spent hours in front of the mirror flipping her hair and singing into a hairbrush - the beginning of a perfect stage show. ..She began her career in Musical Theater with lead roles in several large productions (as "Kim" in ..Bye Bye Birdie.., the seductive "Lola" in ..Damn Yankees.. and as the lead vocal performer in ..Pizazz.. at the 5th Avenue Theater in Seattle). ..Kat Spitz’s voice has been heard by untold numbers of people on the west coast for years, and recently, her new album's opening track ..My Little Torture.. was selected as a Runner Up in Wearelistening.org's 2007 Singer/Songwriter Awards with competing entries from around the world. Her voice is featured on various radio and television commercials and she appears as a studio singer in many other artists’ recordings as well. Kat is recommended as a vocal coach for other aspiring stars in Seattle. ..For years people have recognized Kat Spitz as “the voice” and marveled at her versatility in successfully performing in a wide range of styles. Her new album, ..I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE THINKING.. is a diverse display of soul and pop music delivered with a seductive edge. This record is a dramatic example of her captivating vocal style and carefully crafted songwriting. It sounds like a record you always knew existed but couldn’t seem to find. Kat Spitz displays her amazing vocal talent by presenting multiple sides of her without seeming forced or contrived. Kat is soft, sensuous, flirtatious, funny, powerful, and in control. In other words, Kat is just being Kat. ..Having been influenced by all types of music, Kat has succeeded in making this album have something for everyone. From the inspirationally upbeat "It's All For You" to the beautifully melodic "Crescent Moon", ..I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE THINKING.. is a classic album that will make you want to sit down and listen from beginning to end. ....I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE THINKING.. is available on ..Kat's CDbaby page... Buy it there so that you will get the disc AND the very cool 16 page booklet that comes with it! ..It is now also available for download on iTunes. ..Bio written by Bruce Spitz. .... .......... .. .......... ..Kat Spitz's Facebook Profile...... -

hey, just stopping by to say hi - hope you're enjoying 2010 so far!
I've got my new single up 'Feel Good' - just the thing to settle into the new year. Magazine reviews are comparing my debut album as a cross between John Mayer and Gavin Degraw.
Just spreading some love your way. PS: the song Feel Good, should make you feel good!
