After releasing her first EP early 2008 and touring solo throughout Europe and Canada, Katt Beames (23), currently based in Melbourne town, has spent the last 12 months studying jazz and recording her first full length studio album with her all new line-up featuring: renowned & talented musicians Anthony George (guitar), Grant Smith (bass), and Nic Doncon (drums).
Katt & members of the SoulaR Sky have featured live performances at national festivals such as Port Fairy Folk Festival, East Coast Blues & Roots Festival, Queenscliff Music Festival, Splendour in the Grass, Melbourne’s Sustainable living Festival & Festival of the Sea & The Ostara Festival and recently featured a number 1 song on the Triple J Unearthed Roots Charts.
