Other influences...musicians that have so much passion in their music, Positive feedback, when a song is so good that it makes your insides go crazy and you can't even begin to explain how you feel!! People that work hard and accomplish a lot. Beautiful days outside! Really amazing guitar players! Obviously Stephenie Meyer, listen to "Undone" it was inspired by her books!

Kathryn Tingey started playing the guitar her senior year of high school. She has always been musical, but it was like she found a part of her that had been missing when she picked up the guitar. She wanted to accompany herself and write her own music and the guitar was a perfect tool.
Attending Utah State University helped her hone her skills as she earned a BA in Music Guitar Performance. While at college she wrote and recorded her second album, Raining Autumn.
Kathryn grew up in Utah. As she has evolved so has her music. She has written in many different styles including, jazz, alternative, folk, acoustic and soft rock. She just finished recording her third album "Stranger" of all original music. Kathryn has been writing her own music for most of her life. It has reached a more professional level in the last five years, and she loves sharing her music with anyone who will listen!

Hey Kat! It's been a while I haven't left a comment here so I'm fixing this now. :) I'm currently on vacation at the beach and I listened to "Undone" earlier and I just completely escaped listening to the song, it was like I was elsewhere. I hadn't listened to the song in a while and it totally inspired me like it used to do before. This song makes me dream. I really love it, beyond words. Everybody should know this song, it's impossible not to love it! I can't believe that you're not a superstar yet! Your music deserves to be known by a lot of people because it's really good, contrary to a lot of things that are not and yet they are very famous. It's a shame.

Hey Kat! Earlier I was coming home after class and I heard your song "Undone" on my MP3 player while I was in the streetcar. I loved that! It was such a pleasure to listen to your voice at this particular moment. I felt so good, and that's what's magic with MP3 players! I'll try to order your new album soon because it would be so great to have the possibility to listen to your songs whenever I want and wherever I am. They are really different from your previous songs but I like it when things change and surprise me. You knew how to renew yourself and this is great. Your voice is beautiful as always.
