Katy has been working as an Illustrator, Cartoonist, and Graphic Designer in the Cleveland area for the past 20+ years. Being a cartoonist and illustrator her entire life, after attending Cleveland State University and having dabbled in virtually every form of medium, she eventually phased into computer illustration. Under the name "Katydid Studios" Katy illustrates in any medium (computer or traditional) for publications, greeting cards, clothing, multimedia, and personal portraits/caricatures--she also creates various artworks and jewelry in glass (lampworking, fusing, mosaics, enamels) and other media (whatever interests her at the time!).
With her graphic design business "Myriad Design Works" she does everything from graphic design, photo manipulation/enhancement and restoration, and web design/multimedia for various clients and is currently a subcontractor for NASA (her main client).
